Financial Aid

Funds provided through the assistance of benefactors within the Christian and business communities offer a source of student financial aid. Scholarships are awarded by the Scholarship Committee based upon both merit and need.

Scholarship applications are accepted for each quarter and are awarded as funding permits. In order to be considered for a scholarship award, each applicant should provide the following information:

  • A brief essay on the importance to you of attaining the Associate of Worship Arts degree and why you feel the timing is appropriate

  • A statement of need, disclosing your financial situation, such as the number of dependents or other financial obligations

  • The following general student information: Legal Name, Address, Phone Number, E-mail Address, Birth Date, and Social Security Number

Applicants should mail this information to the Admissions Office, marked "Attn: Scholarship Committee," or e-mail to scholarship@worshiparts.org. If you have not yet enrolled in the degree program, please complete and submit the on-line enrollment form and a letter of recommendation from a pastor/clergy, academic or other professional.

You should receive a response within 2-4 weeks. Members of the Scholarship Committee may wish to contact you directly if they have further questions. Additional documentation may also be requested. In the event the scholarship is approved, a scholarship contract will be mailed to you, stating the nature of the award and any limitations or conditions.

A scholarship award requires a continuous commitment to studies during the entire period of the scholarship and may be withdrawn at the conclusion of any quarter where the student does not make satisfactory academic progress.
