TS 280 -
Observing Sacred Time: A Theology For Worshipers
The I AM—the Alpha and the Omega—ordained
time from beginning (Gen 1:1) to end (Rev 22:13). Just as the God
of the universe is attentive to our individual lives, the God of
eternity reduces that vastness into the specifics of our lives. In His
interaction with humanity God separated night from day and rest from
work. He ordained festival observances to be perpetuated from generation
to generation. This course will look at sacred time and what that
means for us as worshipers. Students will read informative lectures,
participate in relevant discussion and develop their own personal
theology of time.
