Testimonies

The Worship Arts Conservatory is a student-centered institution. We value your needs and highly regard your feedback.  Each quarter we survey our students to find out more about their experiences. Here is what some of them have to say:

How would you rate your overall learning experience last quarter:
Poor - Fair - Excellent?

"Excellent"
"EXCELLENT"
"Excellent. The lessons were informative and thought-provoking."
"I loved it!!!!!"

What did you enjoy most about the quarter?

"I really enjoyed the Tabernacle of David course. It was something I knew nothing about but made so much sense and challenged me not only spiritually but mentally as well

"Meeting people across the globe and sharing our experiences and God’s grace with loving people

"I enjoyed having the opportunity to express in writing my thoughts and views on Scripture and Scriptural principles.  Having to write it downfor someone else to readensures that you think things through and are clearer in your own mind about what you believe

"Seeing a world-view of the body of Christ. I have never been able to have that perspective. When one classmate is hurting, another is there to encourage and pray. When one rejoices, everyone rejoices. I feel like I am truly a part of a LARGE BODY. Not just in the school, but around the world

"Having my eyes opened with revelations on a regular basis, and those
revelations stirring up my passion for worship

Are you satisfied with the depth and breadth of learning that you received?

"Being very new to the whole study of Christian arts, I am certainly satisfied."

"Indeed. I was surprised at first, but it opened up my eyes and ears to the voice of God more."

"Yes. Some was not truly 'new', but it is always good to consider matters from another perspective; and the material will be, I believe, very useful as we build into the courses over the next several quarters."

Did your instructors provide sufficient direction and feedback in each course?

"Yes I felt they did...certainly if they were e-mailed a specific question they were always available for help. Recognizing the environment (on-line) I think it is good."

"Sure. They are such a loving and understanding people. And even via email/Internet you can feel the Christ-like attitude."

"Yes. Vivien and Rebecca were both wonderful."

"Yes. I appreciated the individual notes of encouragement and feedback."

Are you satisfied with the value of the program (is it worth the price you paid)?

"Yes."
"Yes."
"Yes."
"Yes."

If someone asked you for a testimony about your experiences at WAC, what would you say?

"I would say they are very positive. I think the one thing that a new student would need to know is that what you learn or what you experience is totally up to you. You can just blow through the assignments and give the right answers or you can let them impact you and your life. The more effort you put in and the more seriously you take the program the more you will learn and be touched. This is not like any other school where a person is looking for a degree or a piece of paper; a new student should understand that this school is about changing lives, attitudes and relationships with God. If a person is not willing to learn by changing their lives or attitudes this is not a school for them. There are several seminaries or universities out there that teach knowledge and I do not believe the WAC should ever try to compete against them. This is a school about changing one's heart and this is what so enthralls me about the program. I do believe that those just looking for just knowledge might be disappointed, but those that are willing to be challenged will be completely engrossed. (I hope this makes sense from someone who spent way too many years in school!)

"This is sooo awesome!"

"I would say how grateful I am to study God’s Word, and the Worship of God, and to be able to work towards a degree, without having to move or take a leave from my work—which simply would not be feasible. I am also thankful for the community of students, and how supportive and open and vulnerable most have been.  The prayer support from the staff and students during the spiritual battle in my work situation this Fall was particularly encouraging.  As well, I firmly believe that studying here right now is God’s will for my life—and that He will take the lessons I am learning and apply them in future ministry, for His glory

"The ability to bounce ideas off of classmates is very valuable. I just wish I could convince everyone here to sign up!!!"

"It's unique! It's been like an unfolding revelation to me, punctuated by moments of truth. It feels like pieces of a large puzzle are falling one by one into place. The puzzle is is multi-faceted, some parts are related to my personal art, some related to art in general, some related to theology, biblical history of worship etc. Some just in the way that they all fit together. I feel much more equipped, enabled, and empowered than I was before, and much more confident in what I'm doing and why I'm doing it. If it was available in Japanese I think it should be made compulsory for all church staff and worship team members
